The Su’luqw’a’ Community Cousins program at Vancouver Island University is an Indigenous mentorship and leadership initiative. The program serves students from diverse Indigenous communities and cultural traditions across Canada. Rooted in Indigenous values and traditions, our program:
- fosters community
- celebrates culture
- strengthens connections on campus
We offer a welcoming and inclusive space that embraces diversity. This includes 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. And honours the unique identities and experiences of all.
We aim to uplift one another and honor our unique journeys through:
- mentorship
- cultural sharing
- academic support
The program creates a safe and supportive environment for learning and growth. All while building friendships and having fun!
